Integrative and Functional Medicine Practitioner
After three decades of serving as a primary care physician in Silicon Valley, I am focusing more on my integrative and functional medicine approaches to preventive healthcare, with a central focus on Sleep Wellness treatment protocols.
I combine my education and training at America’s top medical programs with my diverse interests in history, cultures, and alternative medicine to practice integrative medicine, where the focus is often on the root causes of illness. In addition to using traditional FDA-tested medications, I frequently recommend techniques such as guided imagery, self-hypnosis, yogic exercise, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills training to help my patients cope with life’s health challenges.
I provide lectures and workshops at senior living facilities, employee enrichment seminars, charitable events, and professional associations. My most popular seminar focuses on insomnia and the health hazards of insufficient sleep.
